June 28, 1999 - Commerce One San Diego formed.   Original group of ten start the content services group for Commerce One.   Reporting to K.C.

December 1999 - Commerce One stock hits a high of $993.00 on NASDAQ.

January 2000 - Mergent Systems acquired by Commerce One.  Content Services grouped with new division.  We all learned of our new reporting chain through a press release.  Reporting to A.B.

June 2000 - Product Management (M.M.) and Engineering (M.L., S.P.) make a play to sell us off to Requisite.   This is the beginning of very uncertain times and an ever tenuous relationship with the mother ship known as Commerce One.

February 28, 2002 - Surprise visit by SN and MM of Commerce One Corporate.   Thought that might be day to close the office.

April 16, 2002 - Effective date of layoff.   Major round hits the office.   Most believe it is BM's way of paying for upgrades in Pleasanton.   While we lost some of the original core through attrition, this round hits at the core of the office.   Lose 1/3 of the office and some very good friends.

September ?? 2002 - BM leaves Commerce One and we have yet another leader ... number six ... in GM.   Later we find out it is merely to pave the way for the eScout deal once again.

October 2002 - Another round of lay-offs....

December 19, 2002 - Almost eighteen months after original discussions with SAP, and 14 months after discussions with eScout, we are sold.   Tentative deal is signed with C1 and eScout.   GM leaves C1 to take a job with eScout.

January 2003 - eScout deal officially consummated.    We have our last interim boss, DK.

April 2003 - More transition team members move on.

May 2003 - All but one Commerce One employee is left as part of the eScout transition.    Suite 200 is supposed to officially close and the team move to new offices down the hall...
